袋鼠数学思维挑战活动（Math Kangaroo）旨在通过给孩子们提供和世界各地的优秀学生相互交流的机会，来促进孩子们的数学思维、激发他们对数学的兴趣。袋鼠数学思维挑战活动是全国第一大规模的青少年国际数学竞赛，在2019年有来自87个国家的超过630万名参赛者参与比赛。同时，袋鼠数学也是少有的对低年级同学开放的数学活动，参赛对象的适宜年级为1-12年级。参赛者将根据年级被分配到1-6级别中的特定级别。比赛是一轮历时75分钟的单项测试，1-4年级有24道题目，5-12年级有30道题目。

Math Kangaroo is an international math competition aims to promote mathematical thinking and stimulate an interest in math, by providing students with an opportunity to compare their abilities against the abilities of other students, from different countries around the world. Math Kangaroo is now the largest challenge for school students in the world, with over 6.3 million participants from 87 countries in 2019. Math Kangaroo is hosted annually for students in grades 1-12. Competitors will be placed in a specific level between 1-6 according to their grades. The competition is a single round 75-minute test, consisting of 24 questions for grades1-4 and 30 questions for grades 5-12.
